Refund policy
REFUND POLICY
1. No Returns on Perishable Goods Due to the perishable nature of our products (handcrafted chocolates) and food safety regulations, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges. Once a food product has left our facility, it cannot be returned for resale under Maryland, Virginia, and District of Columbia health and safety codes.
2. Damaged or Defective Items The only exception to our "No Return" policy is if the item you received is defective or damaged upon arrival (excluding heat damage—see Section 3).

To be eligible for a refund or replacement, you must contact us at nadichoc25@gmail.com within 24 hours of the delivery timestamp provided by the carrier.

You must provide photographic evidence of the damage and the original packaging.

We reserve the right to deny a claim if the request is made after the 24-hour window or without sufficient proof.
3. Warm Weather & Shipping Policy Chocolate is sensitive to heat. During summer months or when shipping to warm climates:

We strongly recommend choosing Express Shipping and adding Insulated Packaging to your order.

Nadi Chocolate is not responsible for products that arrive melted if the customer opted for standard shipping or if the package was left unattended outdoors after delivery.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge the risk of melting during transit and agree that melted products are not eligible for a refund or exchange.
4. Refunds (if applicable) If your claim for a damaged/defective item is approved, we will process a refund to your original payment method. Please note that it may take 5-10 business days for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
5. Order Cancellations Orders can only be canceled within 1 hour of placement. Once the order has moved to the fulfillment stage or has been shipped, it cannot be canceled or refunded.
6. Contact Information & Claims Process To initiate a claim regarding a damaged or defective item, you must follow these steps:

Step 3: Attach clear, high-resolution photos of the shipping box, the product packaging, and the damaged product itself.

Please note: Claims submitted via Social Media (Instagram/Facebook DMs) will not be processed. All formal requests must be sent via email to ensure a timestamped record of the communication.
